Ney Melo is one of today's most talented young Argentine Tango dancers and teachers, currently touring the world. He is known for his innovative teaching methods and passion for teaching. His tango instruction is sought out by beginning and advanced dancers, as well as other teachers and choreographers from all over the world.

In his past life, Ney worked on Wall Street and, after discovering tango, he left his career to pursue his dream in Buenos Aires. His story has been featured on CNBC (click here for the story) and the CNN Espanol channels.

Ney has studied tango with masters of the Villa Urquiza and modern salon styles of tango. He also received acting and voice-over training at HB Studios in NYC. Ney is the creator of Tango Television on youtube which showcases the best tango dancers currently on the scene as well as rare footage of milongueros who shaped the dance.

Ney and Jennifer are highly-respected teachers. They have taught and performed in over 30 cities and 12 countries, and counting. They also organize 2 annual tours to Buenos Aires for dancers. In addition to their busy travel schedule and tours to Buenos Aires, they have recently opened a new studio in San Francisco: "Tango Vida". This is the first studio in San Francisco dedicated to the Villa Urquiza/Salon style of Argentine tango, with a fully integrated program of body conditioning and tango classes.
